Ibiza Cupra TDI
Did any of you guys and gals consider or test drive one of the 06 Ibiza cupra TDI 160's before purchasing your civic? I just wondered how it compared (or didnt compare as the case may be) as they are 160bhp and similar torque to the civic but on paper they are about a second quicker to 60mph (not the be all and end all I know)

Was interested in an Ibiza 1.8T FR, because it was quick and my leasebudget wasn't that great. After test driving the Civic, the Ibiza was not an option anymore, same as the Fiesta ST.

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it. I tried a NEW Ibiza FR TDI last year. It looked nice with its 17's and subtle bodykit but the power of the 130BHP TDI PD engine was ON or OFF. It wasnt a smooth power delivery like on the 2.2 Honda diesel engine. I tried an Accord CTDI Tourer a month or so ago and was impressed with the smoothness. It went OK but being the tourer it was a heavy car. Have yet to try the civic but should be driving one tomorrow and this weekend.
