Do you want to produce some colour coded trim protectors as well
I think the trim will look as pitted as the rest of the front of the car, so it makes little or no difference.

Colour coded

Personally I prefer the colour coding, gives the car that look of individuality.

Furthermore the black trim is more scratch resistant.
Looks much better than the type R.

I had to buy a champagne one cince I wanted the beige interiour... But I love the RED
I do have the RED toy Civic (received it for free when the car was delivered).
My first Civic was red
I see you were into mods a long long time ago!

I agree with other comments on the coding, I think the trim should be colour coded as standard although I see how this could lead to increased costs after shunts etc.

Yep, this was an early 70ies Civic, one of the first Civics made
I had to rebuild it, it was about 11 years that time...
With this picture I got a price form the "'honda today"' magazine...

well i saw how mines was to look when finished and personally like it color coded, ill worry about the paint chips when they happen. this aside my dealer phoned me today saying he was finding it difficult to get one by friday and offered me a nhb for the same price, was tempted but said id wait till he sourced a milano red as this is the one i prefered to begin with

Ordered a 1.8 ES in red today. Due in September 10th.

I always used to buy red cars in my 20s and 30s but have been with black and grey lately. Now I've turned 50 felt like a change- away from my reliable but oh so boring Avensis and ready for some excitement with a red Civic.

I have a red Type-S and I personally think its the best colour. I also prefer leaving the black/grey plastic trim alone as I think it looks classy, in the same way my old red VW Scirocco did with the same kind of trim. Colour coding can look nice but on the Civic I think it makes the car look a little smaller for some reason.

Was talking about Red as the best car colour with a mate last night. We were saying that years ago, red was quite common and silver or black were the 'prestige' colours to go for however nowadays nearly everyone drives a silver or dark coloured car, so red cars really stand out - regardless of model really (although the Civic looks especially good in red)

I was in two minds about whether to go for Red or Black, but am really happy I went for Milano Red! Im due to be the happy owner of a 1.8 EX Milano Red with Boot Spoiler on the 17th August 07

I find it a refreshing change when you see a red civic driving along as its normally just NHB!

When was yours ordered. Mine was ordered at the beggining of July and am expecting delivery 17th August, so about 6 weeks (hopefully) for me.

Hope it arrives soon. I will everyone informed 'if' it 'actually' arrives on the 17th.

Have you got any options which could increase the lead times, i.e. leather seats/ different wheels etc etc?

no factory options, i am getting the trim sprayed and fogs in, but the dealer is doing this, so it shouldnt increase the waiting time, hopefully might be here a bit sooner but doubt it

Actually, allow a few days for the dealer to fit the options.
