Dieseldriver, I agree with you on this one. I have never owned a brand new car, maybe next time (my civic was 9 months old when i bought it). I would do the same and wait 3 weeks for the new plate, as long as you have a car to get about in in the meantime. Part of the fun of anything is looking forward to it. Maybe i'm a saddo too
