Silver VS Galaxy Gray

Halo Friends

I am not trying to introduce a fight here

, but I am buying a new 2007 Honda Civic Sedan, and is having big difficulty to decide which colour to go for. Both Silver and Galaxy Gray look great to me. What does people think which one I should choose?

...but silver is common these days - can I suggest a nice, subtle blue?

I read somewhere recently that you are more likely to be injured in a silver car. But in another report it said, that about 60% of all the cars sold in 2005 were silver!

Silver IS very common, but it DOES look good and you get colour coded door handles.

Spongeybob is right Galaxy grey doesn't show the dirst as much
and I think Honda's silver is to light we would have gone for cosmic grey
but it was pulled before we bought a new civic

so in sum

I would say go for Galaxy Grey - it is more interesting

That's because under a certain light it looks like, well, muddy!

Ps: I'd definitely go for the Silver.

I'm not being biased but I say silver, I've never liked galaxy grey. Who cares if it's common, pick what YOU like

I think the galaxy grey looks beige in certain light, I liked it until I seen it in the flesh

Still Galaxy Grey is better than that Breeze Block colour that Honda

ok so I'm biased... I bought galaxy grey.. but *** have also liked cosmi grey or nhb. the main reason not to go for silver imho is the headlights bland in too much with silver. I want them to standout more and nhb does this v well but galaxy grey does to. silver and they just blend in and since the civ is also style I want that to stand out. ..
ok so you may not want it to standlut. ... well in that case get a focus! (sorry focus owners!)

Galaxy for me

It doesn't show the muck, as stated, and it quite close to the base coat so any chips don't show up as much.

Damn right..... My SILVER clio was rearended by some div!!!! Obviously it wasn't sufficiently obvious with its' hazards on!!!!

We didn't like Galaxy ourselves. Cosmic of NHB would be my choice if buying new. Given Cosmic has now been pulled, then my choice would have been made for me! OTOH, if going for Type-R, Red with the front and rear splitters (black) look awsome!!!!
