Getting very excited!
Hi All
I am getting very excited as I am getting my new civic 1.8 sport tomorrow. I thought 9am would be best and then I have a nice long drive to a wedding.. so it looks like it could be a very cool day indeed. This site has been great for advice etc.. even reading the "problems" forum which has been very helpful. It is my first ever "new" car and I have put up with some rubbish over the years.. so hopefully it'll be a refreshing change. I will let you all know once I have had time to settle into it cheers jake |

Good luck with it Jake!
Do remember though, as excited as you'll be, it's important to check out the car carefully. As well as the checklist available on CivInfo, have a careful look at both the exterior (paint finish, panel alignment etc) and the interior (dashboard scratches, carpet fit, plastic panel fit). The PDI document should also have been fully completed and available for inspection. I think all in, you should probably spend at least 30 mins checking it over before you leave the dealership. And that's not including a run-down of the controls from the salesman doing the hand over! And, if you can, pick it up with a friend. After all, they might spot something you miss! So do enjoy your new car experience. The Civic IS an excellent vehicle! |

Shall be picking mine up at 11a.m. tomorrow too, as I thought get the rush over first.
As for taking someone with you, its a very good idea. "Er Indoors", has always been able to spot the slightest thing I ever do wrong, so will take her. If a knat has cra---- on it, she will see it. |
