Ordered my new Civic ES alabaster silver

Hello

first congrats all on a great forum. Been a great help in me making the decision to take the plunge and order my Civic!! My model is: ES, Alabaster silver with black leather, I-Shift. Should be arriving by late September. Considered the EX but am quite happy with my tom tom really.

What do you guys think of my choice, anyone with the same combination? Was unsure about the i-shift but test drove it and loved it. Think the Civic is so stylish from the inside too.

Do people think it is worth going for the "DiamondBrite" treatment from the dealer. I think no, I've seen threads suggesting you can get the same on e bay for £10! But any comments will be appreciated.

Look forward to hearing back on what you all make of my choice!

I picked up my Honda UK 06 plate Civic yesterday it's a 2.2 i-CDTi Sport in Alabaster Silver with 8k on the clock. It's sure the right colour for the car.

It's the muts nuts.. I've spent the evening polishing it and now it's raining..

I've even put my small Civinfo.com sticker on it's tale. Well, I'll just have to wait to tomorrow now

You know I have ordered the 'executive' version over here in poland, but it doesn't come with sat nav as standard as it doesn't work here. However, after thinking about it I would prefer a seperate sat nav system so that it can be updated more often etc. I won't miss the system anyway.

Welcome to the site and I am slightly jealous that you will get your car so quickly but do enjoy your new toy when you get it.

Nice choice SRK - my 2.2 ES gets delivered on Monday! Also went for the leather, which is very comfy and smart looking!

Can't comment on the i-shift but the the rest of the car sounds splendid, not too long to wait for delivery either!
