Warranty extended warranty

I just bought a Honda crv. The dealer told me about buying an extended warranty so that the crv would be covered for 7 years. He said that the air conditioner and/or the electronics would almost certainly need repair between years 3 and 7. The extended warranty would cost over $1200. Should i buy it?

Do you intend to keep the car that long? If so it may be worth considering. You can also buy extended warranties off third party suppliers (do a search online) and they are normally cheaper.
