Glad there has been such a positive response to this post; one thing to add though; when I added my new leather seats the Honda gap insurers would not allow me to increase the value by adding these as an 'after supply'.
Remember it is the original Invoice price only. nb: I also checked this with 'click4gap' and they said it is doubtful whether any gap insurer would include 'after-fits'. |

Yes, I did just that. I explained as well that it was a permanent fitment in the car as it was non-removable. Unlike other add-on's that could be removed and replaced with the original supplied item.

I've just been quoted £126 for 2 years Gap Ins for £10,000. Plus I've been offered £10 off so £116. Bargain!!
Click 4 Gap are by far the cheapest! |

I want to buy Gap Insurance.
Im a bit confused as to what to buy, does covering my car for £16,000 with a payout limit of £12,500 for three years sound right? |

You're saying that at some point over the three years, that if you wrote off your car, the difference between what the insurer paid you for car, and what it would cost to replace the car would be 12.5K?? How much was that policy, and on what terms? |

Well my car to buy new at today's price is approx £15,700. I have a trade in price at Honda of £11,700 so if I have lost almost £4,000 in one year I kind of thought that in three years (when the car would be 4 years old) it would be worth about £6000 to £7000. |
