Delivery time EX model Lead-times

I'm due a new company car in the next 8weeks or so and was wondering what the current lead times are as I'm probably going to order a Civic.

How long have folks generally been waiting for EX models?

Is the lead-time longer for cars specced with glass roof and leather?

Are any particular colours taking longer than others?

My NHB 2.2 EX with sunroof was ordered 28th May (bank holiday) and arrived 8 weeks later

I ordered mine 1.8EX Company Car at the beginning of July and got it on the 17th August 07. So around 7 weeks for me.

My Civic is Milano Red and the only options I had was the rear Boot Spolier (which is a must if having Red

), which might add a day to delivery time maybe.

Go for the Civic! Looks the Nuts! Drives well, and isnt bad on the tax IMO!

Thanks guys, so 7-8 weeks looks the norm.

Currently waiting on the lease companies preferred Honda dealer to call me to arrange a demo vehicle. Nothing yet and it's been 5days, ho hum seems to be the norm for dealers to be pants.
Current company shed is a Prius

which I have had to babysit for the last 18mths to the end of the lease. Yes cheap on the old company car tax but as dull as dishwater to drive. The Dealer I mean Stealer is useless.

Just had my fun car a VX220 Turbo serviced at a main dealer, absolutely brilliant, had a pile of stuff done under warranty including a new roof, new leather passenger seat (2 or 3 loose stitches on the bolster), windows adjusted. No arguements whatsoever in getting this done. Hope the Honda dealer will be same.

My spec is likely to be

1.8EX with Glass roof and leather, rear spoiler, rear park sensors, mats and possibly side protection strips.
Colour is looking likely to be Milano Red but would like to see what the new 08 model Tangerine colour looks like.

SWMBO won't allow a Type R because it only has 3 doors

. Got some work to do to convince her otherwise.

My Executive (sat nav & glass roof) was also around 8 weeks.
No leather though.

Arrived begining of August.
