Thinking of trading in my 1 year old SE for a brand new Sport

Hi Guys,

My mate was wanting a new Civic and asked me to go with him to have a look, we went to Peter Brooks Honda in Shefield where I got mine from and they did a deal for him on a Milano Red 1.8 sport.

While I was there I ended up speaking to the guy who sold me my car and I asked if it was wise financially to upgrade to a new 1.8 sport (Couldn't resist!).

He offered me £12,300 as a trade in for my car (Standard 1.8 SE) against a new Sport.

Does this sound like a good trade in value?

Talking Gone and done it Again!!!!

I knew I shouldn't have gone to the Honda showroom.

By the end of the month I will be the proud owner of a Milano Red 1.8 Sport.

Got a great deal on my current car (Cleared the outstanding finance + a little) and an even better price on the Sport.

Can't wait, will post piccies when she lands....

I tried but I was told that I needed at least a £2000 deposit, which I didn't have so went for a hp loan.

I know its never the best way to sell a car, but I really don't think I would have sold the car for equal to or more than I owe on the loan I have on the car currently, along with that it's hassle free.
Couldn't really say no to their offer!
