Whats the difference between type s and type s GT.

GT has extra features like HID's, dual air con, auto lights/wipers etc etc
same spec as an EX minus the NAV and HFT.

THE GT comes with

Fog Lamps,
Cruise Control,
Dual Air Con,
Automatic head lights
Automatic wipers
Glass roof (probably the biggest change)

Type-S GT doens't come with HIDs (At least not in the UK) the stealer said that the sensors are fitted to the suspension, but it didn't fit the suspension on the Type-S and Type-Rs.

I ordered the GT, because of the fog lamps, and dual zone air condition, the cruise control would be nice too...

Only think I am slightly weary about (too late now, only a fortnight to go!) is the glass roof...

You made a good choice. The extras that the Type S GT comes with are excellent value for money. I appreciate your concerns about the glass roof, but I can reassure you that it bears no problems (I haven't experienced any). It makes a great difference to the feel of the interior on a sunny day, and is heat reflective so keeps the vehicle cool whilst letting light in. The only draw back to the GT which I have found is that the foglights can be prone to cracking - view the lights forum for more info. Hope this helps!

Wack the Sat Nav in at £1400 and its the dogs whatsits.
Sorry crazy got in before me.
The glass roof gives the birds one less bit of paintwork to crap on and spoil it, if you foget to wash it off too.
I wouldnt worry about the glass Mate, "Er Indoors" thinks its great.

I havnt botherd with the sat nav i have a good tomtom! I would have had to wait 14 weeks for a sat nav model!!!

I've checked the feature list, it seems the GT comes with an Interior and perimiter alarm (CAT1) whilst the S comes with a Perimiter alarm.
