My car Ordered... Finally.

After spending the past 2 months, sorting out my Gap insurance, from my last car, (got cought in a flood). Finally got my money through this morning and ordered a Civic 2.2 CTDI EX with a Studio Pack.

Now got the wait to sit through... Damn Im impatient

They've give me a date of the 25th which is next week, so I will be very surprised if it does come then.
The last new car I ordered was a Fiat, which ok had to come from Italy, but they quoted me 6 weeks which eventually turned into 4 months.
So I guess we'll have to wait and see. Cant wait though.
The test drive I had was great, but its always better when its yours.

I am going to be about the same, my dealer told me december but I am expecting January!

Luckily im in the UK, so the wait times are obviously shorter than on mainland Europe. (It helps that the car is built in the UK).
But it was shock when they told me the 25th and asked me to choose my number plate as Im having the car this month.
But I will be extremely surprised and happy if I get it next week.

Always wanted to be a pilot, flown a plane once and I guess this is the cheepest and closet ill get to doing it on a long term basis.

You are lucky, your car must of already been built. I ordered my Civic Type R GT in silver in August, and was given Feb 2008 for the delivery date. Luckly there was a cancellation and I should now be getting it in 3 weeks time!

good god thats a long wait, my neighbour enquired about a type-r gt in August, and they told him October, he refused as he didnt want to wait that long so they offered £1000 off the price, he still refused and went and bought an Audi A3.

But that is a rediculously long time to wait for a car.

Got a phone call from the stealers today, confirming they will have my car in either tomorrow or Monday morning.

SNAP!!! The dealer called me today too, my CTR GT will be ready next Saturday, now for the money!

Its confirmed, my car is now at the dealers and will be ready for me to pick it up on Thursday.
