Servicing problems with Parks Honda of Hamilton

EDIT (Pottsy):

Trouble with servicing

at parks honda in HamiltonWhy? Heres my story.
Car was booked in on july for the first service and all the usual faults,2 hrs max they said!!!! 5 HOURS I waited .Was told rear brakes disks and pads to be renewed under warranty and that they would contact me,so i waited and waited and waited and waited until eventually I phoned them "oh right aye mmm thats rights well you see blah blah blah".So got the car booked in for today for new disks, pads, renew front tyres and replace the locking wheel nuts ,yes the clowns had lost the key!!So car was booked in for 1 o'clock today and would be ready for 2:30 ,no probs thats fine .Came back 2:30 car had not been moved.Had enought by this time and demaned my keys "oh eh we are just about to start" ,told them forget it I will take my car to a decent stealer.Iam sitting here full of f***kin rage over these tubesso you have been warned.

bigal - probably not much help at this stage - but you're not the first to make comments (good or bad) about Parks Honda in Hamilton

The good news is that there is a fair choice around the Strathclyde area, many of which have had excellent reviews from other owners in here

Check out the Wiki for more details

I have said it before and will say it again
I have had nothing but good / excellent service from
Phoenix Honda Stirling and would hope their other
Honda dealerships offer the same service

Good Luck with things

Sorry to hear of your sad story but all I can tell you in over 6 years dealing with Honda I have had nothing but the finest quality and friendly service where nothing has been too much trouble, it has been a pure pleasure to enjoy a Honda from Geo Collins Honda of Hailsham, East Sussex

Can't say that I'm that impressed with any of the dealers I've used so far (Chiswick, Grays and Enfield). Never thought I'd say, it but they make Renault and Peugeot look good!

I always had my old compay accord serviced at St Andrews Honda in Pollokshields (now Henry's) Always found them to be friendly & efficient.
Incidentally my Accord had done 180K and was still going strong when it left me (was a compay car).

Also just bought my civic from Phoenix in Linwood- no complaints so far.

I got my car from Parks Hamilton and have to agree that they don't seem the best. I've only dealt with Honda in Hamilton since July but the guys from Renault were wee gems compared to this lot. The guys from Honda tried to take the piss out of me when I was negotiating a price for my civic, possibly because I'm female and didn't have my dad or boyfriend there to exert some male don't-mess-with-me attitude. They're also taking their time sending my settlement cheque to Renault. Service wise, they've only installed my parking sensors which was ok. Car was dropped off first thing in morning and ready in the afternoon. I had one Renault service and after an hour I received a text message to say the car was ready.

I only live a few minutes away from Honda in Hamilton so location wise they're great, but for me service is number one.

On a generic note - if people would like to add comments in the dealer sections in the Wiki, it can only help other members

comments, both good and bad, are always welcomed
