The only reason that you dont have a fixing for the mats is that it hasn't been fitted!

Yes - a Honda dealership and purchased after the car.
As for my card Mate, -- They have to bare in mind that there are other dealerships, who will be only too pleased to do the servicing.
Same for the spare wheel if you want one, don't go paying £100 for it.

i wish id of haggled to get them thrown in, in the first place, but you kind of get side tracked when there is a shiney Civic parked two feet from where your talking money!

I picked up my civic 2 days ago just under a year old. I asked the dealer how much for mats and he said £50. I went to another dealer yesterday asked what his best price was and he gave me them for £42 (even fitted them for me.. easy job but nice service.

picked my mats up this morning. tried to charge £47 + vat, but got them for £40 all in.

not too bad. better than having my mats slide up to the pedals!

it was easy to fit by the way. you have to make a slight cut in the carpet to run the fixing under the carpet, but it was easy.

cheers

They are quite easy to fit, I had to remove my bracket and refit it again, as the dealer placed the bracket over the carpet. I was just about to cut a slit in the carpet as per the instructions, and discovered that the slit was already there. So it does nt explain why the dealer did nt do it properly? To only took around 5 minutes if that! (you will need an Allan key)
