Is this the best price for a milano red diesel type S GT?
Hi all,
Newbie here! Looking at buying a 2.2 diesel type s GT in Red. The best price i can find on a car broker website is 16252quid (www.uknewcarsquote.co.uk). What are best deals people have got on this car, anyone get it for any cheaper than this?? DO you think a main dealer would match this or better it?? Thanks! |

Robbieee - your best bet is to get on the phone to your local (or less local if you're willing to travel) dlrs and have a chat.
You may even find some cars that have been registered (but not sold) for September and get a good deal on them. For example, both our featured dlrs on here (John Pease and Holdcroft) have mentioned deals this month, and Nellz_Bassett in this section has posted up some 'cracking deals' Although all three of them are a fair way away from you Don't forget - it's unlikely that an actual dealer (with overheads) will be able to get quite as low as an online dealer. But many people beleive that paying a few quid extra is worth it best of luck! |

You could try that, but in my experience the best deals are to be had when you turn up in person and the salesman is convinced you will sign the paperwork there and then if they hit the right figure. The month end is traditionally the best time to get a better deal as some of the dealers will have sales targets to hit in order to qualify for certain bonuses, hence I am getting my 57 plate 1.8 Sport for 2 grand less than list and around £800 less than the cheapest deal I could find from an on-line broker. Good luck. |
