Done a deal on 06 2.2 EX
I've done a deal on a nice looking 2.2 EX, I say nice looking as the car was located via the Honda dealer network so I have to trust them its ok, I've only seen a few photos.
I checked out an EX in the showroom and also drove a ES so I know what I'm getting (I hope) Anyone else bought used without actually seeing in the flesh the car they are buying Problem is they say they cant get the car for another two weeks, its only 80 miles away! |

I kinda bought my 2.2 Sport without seeing it. That is: I agreed with the seller to buy the car, unless some defects or other damages would appear when I went to pick it up. So I went there, big cheque in the pocket, inspected the car thoroughly, drove it for a while, paid, and took it home. Quickest car purchase I ever made.
But if it's a good deal, you have to move fast, especially when it's a private seller. I missed 2 very good deals before I got this one. K. |

I bought my 2.2 ex of E-Bay, it took about 5 hours from initial phone call to driving away in it.
I had been to the dealers the day before and had a test drive, but they didn't have the Spec in the right colour. I went away to think it over and the next morning mine appeared on E-Bay. The seller, who only trades through E-bay offered to match the dealers offer for my Rover 75 and that was it, an hours drive to his garage a thorough inspection and test drive from both parties and the deal was done. So not only did i get the right spec in the right colour i saved 6K into bargain. Well chuffed. |
