Thanks a lot for depressing me.
Mine had 24 miles which I did think was a bit high although I didn't see the point of making a fuss.
On the pdi check document it said booked in with 5 and booked out with 12 so my cheeky dealer has added 12 somehow.
Probably because it was stored at the dealers for a couple of weeks while the DVLA transferred my personal reg.

Just an idea. Perhaps if they are sourcing the car from another local dealer (for example the Grantham dealer is part of the Lincolnshire Honda group) then rather than loading it on a truck they may just choose to drive? Especially if the distance is fairly low? Then add the petrol run and it may explain the 20 miles-ish thing

Mine had 8 miles on it when I picked it up. I needs to be driven to check all the systems so your car will have some miles on it.

My dealer told me that Honda supply the car to them in a condition that requires it to be PDI'd correctly, i.e. the remote locking and radio don't work and the engine oil needs filling up amongst other things.

No way could you then take delivery of a car with no miles on it.

Not sure about other dealers, my last Civic was the same too.

my first FN2 had 4 miles on it, second had 14 miles.

First was bone dry fuel tank and some PDI stuff not done. Second had a brimmed tank and everything done, so I assume the extra 10 miles accounts for that......

So do you get a document stating how much it had
before the dealer recieved it. anything else I need to be aware of like this. Does the car keep info of the last speed it did so I know like nobody has feasted it

No, I didn't.

I wouldn't worry about it, your car will be ok!

You don't get that but you could ask the dealership as they will have a delivery receipt.

Lets be honest, however many miles your car has on it, it's more than likely it has been ragged a lil.

Dont worry about it and just enjoy the car.
