Type S GT ordered today
Just ordered my new company car today, Type S GT 2.2 in Milano red with Blade Alloys and a couple of other extras (see previous post)
Really looking forward to fetting now, but i've been told there is a 20 week build time, which takes us to early March, can that be right? what sort of time did it take you guys and girls to get hold of yours? |

ooh enjoy! i got the 1.8 GT, feel like im missing a bit of grunt. You will obviously have none of those probs, or probs with ishift delay in gears etc, which im living with.
Mine took 3 weeks, they already had one ordered at factory and wanted to sell it, hence bargain. |

Mine took 8 days. They had one at another branch. It came with 18" blades but they wanted too much so they put me 17" EX wheels on instead at no cost

5 month build time sounds about right
bit longer than some, bit less than others If you are lucky, and your lease car co can do it, they may locate another one of the same spec on a dlr forecourt somewhere... |

20 week wait for a Type S GT on tangerine and black also through company car lease scheme
Went for Alabaster silver instead, should be available mid November...unless they're having me on. |

Build Time
I ordered the NHB 2.2 Type S GT (18" Blades) at the start of August, It arrives 2nd week in November.
And worse still, time seems to slow down once you've ordered it. Getting a neck like an owl now if I spot a Civi when driving. No matter how long the wait, it'll be worth the wait. All the best Beef |

I also have an old (but nice low mileage example) 300TE24. Very nice, but new ones are overpriced to a silly level. |
