Only as safe as the person behind the wheel though.

Never had an airbag go off ever so they're just ticking time bombs with me.

true - although of course this includes the person behind the wheel of the car which hits you...

(Gawd forbid, obviously! )

Why is it that Honda do not at least update dealers so that their salesmen can be fully informed about what they are selling. - or perhaps they do but sales managers are not bothering to pass the information onto their staff?
If Honda dealerships are anything at all like where I work...

For years we complained of never being told anything.
Then 'the company' made a very specific decision to change that
Now I get at least 5 emails / intranet updates per day on what is happening around the place
And I probably take in about 1% of it

although, to be fair, my wage packet doesn't rely on knowing it all

Same here unfortunately - information overload, most of it doesn't apply to me anyway.
