Buying a civic

I've just had a car crash and went into the back off a Saab and from what i have gathered wrote of my Honda civic 1997 1.6I coupe style car, is the 1.4 civic worth buying? (new shape) because i need something cheap for insurance due to im only 24yrs old and now only have 2 years no claims.

Have not driven the 1,4 - but it still looks great!
Especially if you go for the exhasut trim.

thanks, i wasnt to sure on it because i use to like the old style civic that i had which was nippy for the engine size. reckon its a write off though because the bonnet is buckled upwards, bumper bent down wards showing the chasis bars at the front of the car and the lights are smashed, but the funny thing was like a typical honda when they went to move it, it started up 1st time without a problem.

Hoping if i do get one i'll get one from honda blackpool cause they are offering cars on 07 plate 5,000 miles on them for £13495.
