1. 2.2 EX
2. £467.75 3. Local Broker (A-Plan) 4. Age - 28 5. Years Licence Held - 11 6. NCB - 4 year 7. Convictions - none 8. Location - Slough That's with my two brothers and father down as additional drivers and protected NCB. Having my little brother on there certainly adds to the premium, but what kind of older brother would I be if I didn't let him borrow it now and again. |

I was on my fathers policy he had 9 years ncb!!!! Now they kick up a fuss, no one ever wrote to say well done for all these incident free years of motoring. Accident, straight away, we need this this this this and this, oh and by the way as your son was driving, we are contesting your claim (that within 20 minutes of the accident!!!!!!!!!!). Here we go;
1. 2007 Type R GT 2. £507 3. Admiral 4. Age - 23 (just) 5. Years Licence Held - 6 years 6. NCB - None! Had my mini insured under my Mum before 7. Convictions - None, i'm a good girl 8. Location - A little village in a place called East Lothian(just outside Edinburgh) in Scotland Was suprised I got such a good quote for being A under 25 and B having no NCB. I got a quote from Honda Care Insurance who gave me £1585 as a price which was cheaper than Zurich, but then Honda asked what experiance I have of driving performance and big engine cars. Ie i'm driving my Dad's M3 convertible at the moment and Had a Cooper S before I sold it for the Type R |

Yeah, do! My sister who has just turned 21 on the sameday I turned 23 got quoted £550 from Elephant on her 2.0l Z4. She had a 1.2e Polo all kitted up insured under my Dad so she didn't have any no claims either. So give Elephant and Admiral a try (they are the same comp) I got a slightly higher quote from Elephant but you never know |

1. Model of Car: 2,2CDTi ES
2. Cost: £215 3. Broker: Marks & Spencer....using Axa through Budget Insurance 4. Age - 50 5. Years Licence Held - loads 6. NCB - loads 7. Convictions - 3pts 8. Location - rural Cambridgeshire....but post code is Stevenage. I have been with Budget for a few years, they have been reasonable (free breakdown recovery as an existing customer), with insurance supplied by Axa. This year they wanted £377 renewal. Entering my details on their website got it to just over £250. Also tried a comparison website where M&S was cheapest of the names I'd heard of and had all the bits I wanted. Phoned Budget, they were not interested in price matching, so went with M&S, then found out it is done for them by Budget using Axa! I had something similar a few years ago when Tesco was cheapest. Phioned Direct Line, they wouldn't price match, then said they do Tescos car insurance! Funny game this insurance business, just goes to show you have to shop around every year. Terry. |
