09 Championship White Type R

Hi All, I'm selling my CW FN2 which I bought new in June 2009.

Usual Champ white spec

LSD
Xenons
USB/IPOD connection
Dual Climate
Fogs
Cruise Control
18s
FHSH
13900 miles

14k ono and I am interested in p/x, maybe an RX8/EP3 or non Type-R considered.

The car is coming up to 14000 on the clock and is in excellent condition inside and out with unmarked alloys.

I bought the car with 2 years free servicing which is non transferable so I will get the car serviced prior to collection and will also tax if needed by then.

Only extra ive had fitted is a Parrot 9200 bluetooth hands free kit which is excellent, will have 1 fitted to the next car I have.

I have owned Type-Rs for over 6 years now as I had a Cosmic Prem EP3 from new as well which I used as p/x, always warmed up before vtec and oil checked on a regular basis.

More pics available on request and please feel free to ask any questions.

Cheers

Matt

Curious, I've been thinking about a type r for a while. But been put off by petrol and running costs, is that your reason for sale?
Currently got a 07 Black Type S gt (1.8 ishift) with Color coding and type r spoiler, 30k Miles, full Honda service history, you consider that for part exchange?

I doubt its to do with petrol costs as he states he would P/X for an RX8! Thirsty aint the word

Yeah I only drive 12 miles a day so petrol isnt an issue for me, getting the 1 year old in a 2 door is getting on my nerves a bit though!

I Jonathan, I'm basically consolidating a few of the cars we own and buying cheaper cars to cut my outgoings to help save for a new house.. Nothing to mental but if we ended up with an RX8 and older Civic instead of the new Mini and Champ White Type R it would put me in a good position.

I would consider the 1.8 as I'd give it to the wife, what do you want for it px?

Cheers

Quick update, the free 2nd service does transfer to the new owner, the first was carried out at about 7000 miles.

Warranty is valid until June 2012 with Honda.

R number 260

Feel free to ask any questions

cheers

Matt

Not looking to buy but i have a FN2 Type r and a RX8 and the rex is the total package if like me you like the high reving engines and have kids. Not much to choose between them in the smiles department but do your homework on the Rex and get on the Rx8 owners club website where you will get all the Idiosyncrasies and the maintanance that goes with them. There are some realy good cheap rx8 out there, watch for when the road tax date changes if you are looking at older cars, it will cost you £200 a year less, good luck with the sale

Hi Doozer, yeah exactly what I was thinking, joined the RX owners club about a month ago to start researching, sadly missed out on what looked like a good'un this weekend as the owner is p/xing tomorrow. As you say im looking for 2005/55 cars as a friend at work had a mint 56 plate PZ and the tax was £400 now £460 (he sold last year)

Cheers for the post

Good sale, really trying to upgrade my civic to a type R. Was really thinking about this one, but too late.
