Wanted: 2.2 Type S GT or EX

Hi,

Looking for a Type S GT or EX, though a 3 door would be preferred. I'll consider all colours though preference is to Red or Black.

I'm based in Ipswich but would be willing to travel for the right car. Working with a budget of £8k.

Any questions or suggestions please post!

If I have no luck with buyers, would you consider purchasing the Type R for £8k?

The reason for sale is genuine. It is a seriously low price, but I'm willing to accept it to sell it as soon as I can, otherwise I'll be paying out for it when it won't be used.

I'm sure you could take it to a trader or car supermarket and get more than that for it anyway? Parkers suggests over £9k at trade in:

I have a top spec EX with tons of Honda Extras in Milano Red Low Miles etc etc but im looking for 8500. just taxed moted and serviced too! 500 miles ago it had 4 new tyres and new brakes all round! You will not find a better example, only diffrence it is the 5dr version but take a look as its very sporty as it has every extra plus type R spoiler GP Pack Xenon headlights and 2011 SI Spoilers plus Fully colour coded by honda.

45k miles, 06 reg, fsh, mot, tax

£8000 is reasonable i think (ive checked autotrader)

my company car arrives tomorrow, so dont need the car no more.
unless u got a turbo car then i might be interested as a wk end car

Not a bad offer for one with that mileage, but looking around I think I'm set on black to be honest..

If you do look to sell it I'd say go in at more than £8k!

Hi jamrolleypolley, are you still looking?

I've got a 2008 (57) BLACK 2.2 Type S GT, just done 61k miles (mainly motorway), MOT and Tax til Jan 12, Full Honda Service History. Selling cos relocation and no longer needed a car to commute. 4 new tyres at 59k miles (last serviced).

Was looking for £8500+, but willing to negotiate. Will also throw in chip repair kit, trim dye (which I used to dye the body kit) and some bits and pieces for car cleaning.

Overall excellent condition.

Hi Decoep3, Yes my car is still up for sale, I haven't got time to post a proper advert yet (in the middle of moving! hence selling). Car currently located in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. I can take it to Bath or Bristol area for viewing/test drive if needed.

Anything in particular you would like to know?

Box standard 2.2 Type S GT, now done 62250 miles and I'm looking for £8200 now. To my horror, just found out over the weekend, there is a small dent just above the left rear arch and a scuff on the rear right bumper. Both are hardly visible tbh. Will try to post some picture when I have time.
