Was scratched rear right panel while parked but fully repaired by authorised repairer; usual stone chips but nothing major; small dent just above left rear wheel arch; small scruff rear right bumper. No outstanding finance.

Car currently located in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Can be brought to Bath/bristol area for viewing/test drive.

Extra inc. car mat, chip repair kit, trim dye, car cleaning bits and pieces and 17 months left of GAP insurance.

For sale (reluctantly) due to relocation and no longer needed a car to commute. I used to get well over 50mpg (real, not computer) on motorway with cruise control at 70mph on my 90 miles daily commute. Well looked after, never been overly stressed. No problem with clutch whatsoever. Overall very good condition.

Just sold a 07 same spec and colour as yours with 21k on clock and got £7,700. it was on auto trader for 4 weeks and not one phone call. Your car is well priced to sell but unfortunatly not many buyers about. Hopefully someone will come along soon. Good luck

Yes Jpetrie, it is still for sale. I drive it weekends only now, it's a pity to see it sit in the car park during weekdays. Would be nice to see it go to a good home.

Nah, just general wear and tear and if everything works? Also what's the condition of the paint other than what you've already stated? Swirls, small scratches etc.

Also I'm not sure how much more I can go over 7.5k

Hi there,

Mechanically, everything works the way they should. Japanese quality, can't knock it, better than Germans dare I say. And being a diesel it still have plenty of life left, I see you have (had?) the ES and I'm sure you know how good the engine is.

I've done 30k miles in this car, mostly motorway commute and I never rev the engine when cold. It's only my partner's sudden change of job meant we had to move and now I use the train for work so only drive in the weekend to keep it happy.

Exterior, there are some small blemish here and there, but nothing a good wash, wax and polish can't get rid of (I can do that before selling), also I will be including a touch up kit, so any small blemish can be fixed.

Interior I would rate excellent, No squeaks or rattles. We never eat in the car, and we don't have kids or pets, the number of times we have 3 or more people in the car is definitely less than 10 in my 1.5 yrs ownership.

FYI, I'm advertising £8500 elsewhere and I advertise it cheaper here as I wanted it to go to a good home where I know people here will cherish it and not just some Joe Public who don't appreciate it. You can see from Ashy's post (I don't know him BTW), this is a good price.

And just to let we will be going down to Poole/Bournemouth area on 8 Oct, if you are interested, you are more than welcome to come and have a look at the car. We can then take it from there.

p.s. Tax is now until Aug 12, not Jan 12 as mentioned.

I know it's a good price. I'm not sure if I can stretch past 7.5k. However I would recommend dropping it on autotrader slightly, as people seem to be waiting more for the newer shape, so the Civics value will start to decline quickly.

IMHO, I think the new 9th Gen Civic is fugly, I wouldn't want to buy one. It just doesn't look right compare to the 8th Gen one...

Hmm, good price. Okay, just seeing if I can get monies together. Think I should be good with 7.7k. Still awaiting payment from insurance company, but they did say funds should be here within 5 working days two days ago. I'm off on the 8th Oct. How long does it take to get from where you are to Bournemouth? Just trying to work out distances, because I'll most likely want to view it prior to the 8th.
