Civic Type R GT 57 Plate - Alabaster silver, GP Pack etc

The time has come to sell my December 2007 (57 plate) Civic Type R GT. It's a great car but doesn't get the use it deserves. I have owned the car just over 2 year and I am the second owner. It was bought as an approved used car from Springfield Honda in Durham.

It is a GT spec car so has the following as standard:

Dual zone climate control
Cruise control
Front fog lights
Heated and folding wing mirrors
Automatic lights
Automatic wipers
Multifunction steering wheel

Type R mats

The mileage is currently at 33000. The car has a full Honda service history and was last serviced on the 2nd October 2012 by Springfield Honda. Two Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's were also fitted during the service. The rear tyres are Bridgestone Potenza's and still have plenty of tread remaining. The car is taxed until the end of February 2013 and has an MOT until September 2013. Like most Type R's the clutch pedal occasionally squeaks but this has never bothered me and does not affect the way the car drives.

The car is Alabaster Silver. It's a stunning colour that really suits the lines of the car and it's not as common as the usual blacks and reds. There are one or two small stone chips to the front end and one under the driver's side door handle but being silver are barely noticeable. There are no dents or dings anywhere.

Over the two years I have owned the car I have upgraded a few parts and added one or two personal touches which I believe make the car stand out. These include:

Honda GP pack (Front and rear splitters which are a must have for the Type R)

OEM 18inch wheels powder coated in gloss black (These are all unmarked apart from a very small scuff on the passenger side front)

Nighthawk Black Wing mirror caps (Still have the original silver ones if required)

Team Heko Wind deflectors

Do-Luck braided brake lines, Brembo discs and Cosworth Streetmaster pads. These have massively improved the braking of the car which is a bit pants as standard.

Eibach -30mm Pro kit with Eibach Camber bolts. These were fitted along with new drop links then a full 4 wheel alignment (Fast Road Set Up) was carried out by Revolution Motorsport in Gateshead (Print out available). This has transformed the handling of the car and has eliminated a lot of the harshness of the stock suspension setup.

Rear Tints
Skunk 2 Gear Knob
Mugen Oil Cap
Mugen Radiator Cap
Ambient Footwell Lighting (Red)
Upgraded Mains, side lights and fogs bulbs

It really is a great car and I'll be sad to see it go, it has never given me any issues in the time I have owned it.

There is outstanding finance on the car but this will be settled in full on sale of the car.

I am asking the bargain price of £8200ono for the car.

I was planning on coming to the meet but didn't get away from work till 4 on sunday afternoon, wasn't happy

It sold at the weekend, the guy is coming to pick it up on saturday. I can't believe how fast it sold to be honest and I'm actually a little bit gutted
