Hi, I am really interested in this mod but I am completely useless with electrical work - is it really idiot proof ? Is there any chance you could send me the instructions so I can see before I buy ? (I appreciate this is cheeky so please feel free to say no !!)

Thanks

Well it doesn't seem like anyone has head any real problems so how hard can it be!

If you send me the details I will be happy to take one unit from you.

Awesome thanks, i'm really glad I bought one now. On 2 separate occasions today i turned the ignition off and opened the doors to realise that I hadn't folded the mirrors in. So frustrating!

Hi
first of all I wanted to ask if you ship to Italy and how much would that cost. I have the same problem Mat has.... I'm really a mess with electrical stuff fitting so could you send me a wiki on installing to see if I can manage to do it myself?

Thanks a lot

All i want to know is what do I need to be able to do to fit the unit?
I haven't done any work on my car at all before or any real electrical work. I think im right in saying soldering is not needed?
If you can clarify this im sure I will be taking one from you very soon.

Many thanks
Please see below as I have not fitted mine yet !!

I can't say exactly how long the job took as I was trying to do several other jobs at the same time, including eat lunch and drink loads of tea But I would guess at around 50 minutes or so to do the job. I think the hardest part was trying to get the small plastic covers off to allow you to remove the screws that hold the door card on.

As expected the module worked perfectly. It looks so cool walking upto the car and from a distance unlocking it and see everything fold out and lock in place ready to go a useful feature of the module is that if you ever wonder if you have forgotten to lock the car as you have walked away, a quick glance at the position of the mirrors will soon confirm its security status.

Whilst driving today one thought crossed my mind: The internal manual door lock operates the central locking. The new controller is connected to the central locking so what happens if I lock the car whilst I was driving, would the mirrors fold up or stay put as you would hope? I tried it and everything behaved as it should, the doors locked and the mirrors stayed put, unlock the doors again and the mirrors remain unaffected. Arrive at your destination get out press the lock on the remote and the mirrors fold up.

Great service, communication and help from MrBozo.
and a fantastic mod for your car that works perfectly and is easy to install.

And MrBozo

Hi,
Could you let me know how much it would cost to ship 2 units to the Netherlands? I told my brother about this and we both drive a Civic! He told me I was only allowed to order if I would get one for him too!

Thanks
