Red Honda logo for wheel caps.

I was doing these a while back but lost the artwork for it, and all the sizes I needed along with it. Type R wheel cap

Over the past few months a few members have asked me could I supply them with a set of these, so I have finally got round to redoing the artwork and just today got a few sets cut, so if anyone else would like a set just let me know.

The cost is still £5 incl postage (per set of 4 ), payment would be Paypal or Personal cheque.

I have read the trading rules and will follow them to the letter.

How much for sending them to Belgium?
What 's the quality? Do they stick well, even after a few washes?

Thanks!

Hi Koen

They are cut from high quality vinyl, the same material that the side decals are cut in, so as long as the wheel cap is well cleaned and free from any wax or polish before you apply them, you wont have any problems with them coming off, mine have been on for nearly a year now with no problems.

Cost would be £6 posted to Belgium. A lot cheaper than the price of a genuine set, and look just as good when fitted.

i can recommend these, and they are a perfect fit over the original logo. mine have been on for about a year and ive had no problems. i still use my wheel cleaner and they are unaffected. just follow gers fitting instructions and you will be very please with the result.

A few people have somehow got the idea that this is a complete set of wheel caps with the red H on it, so just to clear things up, this does NOT include the caps.

It's a vinyl cut graphic which is applied directly on top of the Black H on your own wheel caps.

Would it be a good idea to finish them with a clear coat of lacquer? Or would that do more bad than good? (Like peeling the logo off or so...)

It's really not needed, but if you wanted to, you would need to make sure you didn't use a cellulose based lacquer, as this would just melt the vinyl.

I ordered the red logo's from Gers, got them by mail a few days later, and applied them to the wheel caps a few more days days later.
This is what it looked like after the job was done. The stickers were top quality, nicely cut, no rough edges or whatever. The only remark I could possibly make is that they were not a perfect fit, but slightly smaller. This is probably because of small tolerances during the cutting process. But that's only visible from within a few cm/inches, the picture speaks for itself. Overall I'm very pleased with them!

Thanks Koen, glad you liked them.

I know what your saying about them being slightly smaller, it's not just a case of making them bigger, I would need to break the image apart and move just the outside edges leaving the inside the same size, and to be honest as you say it's not noticeable when they are fitted on the car.

Good job, I think you will be well pleased when you get them on the car.

Will these fit over 17" EX alloys cap logos? If so pm details and I'll have a set please, they should look good on milano.

Cheers

Hi Brungle

I tried one on a few different Civics at my local dealers and they seemed to fit on all sizes including 16" wheels, just to make sure I have included a pic here with the size of the logo marked on it, I would just check this against your own just to make sure.

You can let me know and I'll PM you payment details.

Cheers Gers

I think they'll fit all wheels. I can't imagine that Honda makes different wheel caps for every type of alloy. Wouldn't be very cost-effective.

Thanks for confirming that Brungle.

They do look good with the Milano, sets the wheels off at a fraction of the cost of the genuine Honda ones.

If not - I demand you make some more

Seriously though I, too, am interested in these - I presume they will be ok to go over my CTR standard 18's? reason I need them is to go back onto my centre caps after I have my alloys powder-coated - thanks!
