I just went to replace the lights in the vanity mirrors. I had to take bulb out when it was on as I cant turn lights off at all unless I disconnect the battery, out one in and now lights for map and centre light now dont work, has a fuse blown. I did not have ignition on at all

Seemed easy job taken cover out

which fuse is it and where is it. I wish you could get a Haynes guide for this car

Yes disconnect the negative terminal to the battery to be absolutely safe.

We got the map ones done but they don't fit properly due to size of the bulb it doesn't seem to sit right when you fit the silver coloured reflector so it has to be slightly off centre had to take the whole unit out and not just the transparent lens as it would not fit in.

The centre light is fine as is rear didn't look as bright as original but haven't tried at night yet so its probably down to that. Got one front sidelight done, the other battery was taken out got wrong polarity as it does not say on the holder but one bulb dropped when it was taken out to reseat it and now cant find it, its not on the plastic shield thing that goes under the engine I think it dropped near the light itself but cant find it anyway spent ages me and daughter boyfriend looking for it and still cant find it

I might need another bulb I just hope the lost one isn't moving around in the surrounding of the light. I am on holiday next week and need car for holiday in Norfolk first holiday in 3 years

Damn seems like you have had some bad luck mate.

Just to note, the map lights fit fine if you remove the grey/silver plastic shroud which clips to the perspex lens, it just unclips and is not required at all.

We managed to recover the led bulb it was in the light housing it took a lot of effort, lol. Now working fine we put the silver housing back in I thought about leaving it but didnt want to leave it out in case we lost it if we kept it in house thanks JP

I might get a bulb for the boot at some point is it like the main one in car

Bulbs were far easy to put just a little awkward the passenger side sidelight but once taken battery out is fairly easy

Hi JP, bought interior front and back lights off you in red last Xmas. Nine months on, one of the front red bulbs has stopped working or at least 6 of the nine leds dont work and the remaining 3 glow in a dull sort of a way. Anyway these things happen and I would like to purchase a replacement front interior map reading set in RED so I will then have a spare should another one go at sometime.
