Hot flex garment vinyl. :)

A friend of mine in the T-Shirt printing business gave me a few pieces of this iron-on hot flex garment vinyl, so I thought of applying something on the head rests. I just couldn't resist it lol, it's cool stuff.

I've just used some standard vinyl here to give me an idea of size, position and how it would look.

I did two different designs and now have just confused myself as to which one I should go with. What ya think!

Thanks guys. I did the Type S one first and really liked it, then did the Honda one just for fun lol, but I thought it looked cool when it was on. so still confused lol.

Just hope this adheres to the alcantara, think I'll try a test piece on the underside of the rear headrest first.

I would try the iron on the lowest possible heat setting so as not to scorch the headrest. You can always increase the temperature if it doesn't mark it.

Yeah DR, That was my biggest fear of leaving a scorch mark.

The instructions say to use highest cotton setting (160) for 15 seconds, but I'm thinking of covering the area around the logo with some paper or something like a tea towel just to be on the safe side lol.

I think that would be best.

Why not get a quote for a new headrest cover before starting? It will give you some idea of the risk involved.

It might come to that.

I was thinking of putting it on the seat, but quickly dismissed that idea, would be cheaper to buy a headrest lol.

It's just at the mucking about stage at the moment, I need to find out if it will stick properely to the Alcanttara, hopefully it will.

When I'm cutting them I'll do a few extra ones, and if you fancy a set I'll sort you out.

I have a few T-Shirts with this hot flex on it, they must be 3 years old now, and I've lost count how many times they have been washed, and still looks as good as new, so no problem with it lasting, just sticking lol, as it's mostly used on polyester and cotton.
