Would the people who have had this kit please let me know how you get on and if any improvements can be made to the kit or instructions. I hope you can all understand this is a new product and there may be things I did not notice that could help me improve this.

Received your kit yesterday and fitted last night - 100 times brighter than the standard yellow bulb, very impressed fitting was easy, though I didn't find the need to drill a hole in the roof of the glovebox; rather I filed away a corner of the factory lamp lens so that I could pop it back in with a recess for the new wire to come out.

Thanks RickHondaR!

Hi,

Recieved these the other day, very easy to fit, the thing that took me the logest was taking the paper off the double sided tape! doh!

I followed the instructions, but didn't drill the hole, I just fed the wire back through the rather poor Honda glovebox light hole.

I didn't realise the glovebox was that big, tee, hee - very simple mod and makes finding things in the glove box, hugely easier.

If I get chance i'll get some photos and upload.

Regards
Darren

I was about to install it today, but had no drill.

Do you guys then dismantle the old light? Or do you let it be?

Pull light out that's in the glove box, I did it with my nails. Then once it's out, just do as the instructions say, using the scotch locks. Then all I did was push the wire and light back in, then stuck the strip down. What rick recommends is neater, but now it's stick I can't see the tiny bit of wire. Worked a treat, took a couple of mins

It had taken me a while to upload some pictures as I needed to find some pliers to squeeze the scotch locks as the honda wires are pretty thick.

It was a really easy job, done in less than 5 mins. The instructions provided by Rick is very easy to follow. I did not use the drill method as I don't have a drill, must admit, by drilling the wiring would look a lot nicer). The excess wiring is all tucked inside and the little bit sticking out can be covered up by some black tape.

Although not the first to show them working, but i will be the first to stick them horizontally and it provides a different viewpoint as Opposition stuck them vertically. Sorry for the dirty glovebox but the new LEDs really show the dirt well unlike the original light. Enjoy

Hmm, can you post detailed instructions how you wire the light from glovebox without drilling anything? Do I/can I need to remove the old light bulb?
