Any chances of the module being upgraded with the window open/close function any time soon?

Received module in a timely fashion

Read and followed supplied instruction.
Double checking everything and finding all wires before starting anything

Don't rush, take your time, and you'll make a really good of it.
It’s not a race

I soldered all connections and used heat shrink to insulate.
Re-wrapped the looms in tape, tie wrapped the module into the arm rest.(behind door card) it's a perfect fit.

Tested without fully refitting door card (worked first time)

Big tip here guys (old civics 2006/7) can lose the immobiliser coding if you disconnect or reconnect the battery with the key in the ignition.

Don't have the key in the ignition when playing with the electrics. Steelers will have your eyes out for a reprogram and the charges for towing car to the garage isn’t going cheap either. (I’ve not done
it but others have on this site)

Awesome mate....sounds like a good install. Thanks for the tip I will add it too the instructions too. Now you can enjoy and be safe in mind that you now know when your car is locked and potentially save a fortune on mirror replacements as they won't get knocked off when your parked.

Received a couple of weeks ago and I must say awesome mod
Easy to follow instructions (even though I only have a black and white printer still managed to do it)
I have no electrical experience and I mean none not even wirering a plug and I even had to ask my friend on how to disconnect the battery properly.

Door card off in a couple of minutes I had to first replace my wing mirror which took another couple of minutes and about 30mins on top looking for that nut I dropped

Fixing in the module took sometime (remembering I have no experience) I took ages reading it re-reading it getting the tools I felt necessary, pulling out the wires needed to be cut and the general plan -.- all this by the way is too much..

Done the job time was about 20 mins, plus the time I had a problem with a wire not being able to reach but it seemed though I tried to cut a corner stupidly!

I got some velcro pads (that I also used for the little box for my iPod) and attached it to the underneath inside the arm rest tracing all wires so it all looked tidy again

Then having the problem my alarm wouldn't set
** was the bonnet being open still **
Gps never worked as I **just needed a little time to boot.**

All is good now and its actually the most useful thing ever! Looking good as its the only civic I know of that can do this!
Wished I got it a lot sooner. Kudos to Bozo!

So pleased! Thanks

Great stuff mate....always well worth reading the instructions thoroughly and it does prove that if you don't have to be a whizz at electrics. Enjoy.

Very pleased with my module now, all is settled down and functioning perfectly; I'm so happy that I'd suffer the soldering burns all over again if the module is ever remodelled with auto-close for the windows.....

Heavy hint there Steve, any progress with this?

Cheers

Dave

LOL...thanks mate....trust me I'm working on it. Just juggling work, time off when it doesn't rain etc etc. Wouldn't want to hurry and botch it up.

Cheers.
