Very interested in this kit, you say its simple and only takes 1 hour, is it just the door cards that take a while to get off then its simply plug and play?

Yes pretty much, you need to snip a few wires from inside the door card and connect them to the "box". The door card isn't hard to take off, took me less than 10 mins the first time (removing the door card that is).
