Yea i noticed they dont fold in/out when being lock and unlocked like most electric wing mirrors on other cars. This mod is such a nice touch, few questions tho where does that black box go behide the dash, under bonnet or.. and how simple is it DIY cause im a complete numpty when it comes to things like this. but price does seem very reasonable. How much do you think a garage would charge for fitting this? if i fail todo so?

Hi Brendy....the mod is easy to do yourself if you follow the instructions to the letter. The module sits inside the door card just under the arm rest where the switches are so it is not visible. I'm sure if you were unsure in any way an auto electrician could fit for you by following the instructions.

can you confirm these work on a 2.2 ex and fold with the lock button on the fob, and open with the unlock button on the fob.
What does it also do to the wing mirror button i have inside the car

Hi....yes this will work on your EX. I have this model also. All units made are tested on my own car.

Basically the unit operates by folding your mirrors on lock and unfolding on unlock from your key fob. The button for manually folding/unfolding still works and over-rides the unit. This is useful for parking in tight spaces, ie driving into a narrow garage etc.

Hi....it is based on the same circuit but modified to reduce the size of the unit. Also I use different wiring and earthing points.

Hi. Would like one of these very much. Can you just confirm that the manual fold button will override the key fob i.e if mirrors are folded manually will they stay folded upon unlocking the car?
Also is the guide relatively easy to follow in terms of how much trim I will have to dismantle. Do I need any equipment like wire splices/crimps etc
And will this fit and work on my 2.2 CTS.
