Hi Mr Bozo. Just read the ENTIRE thread and i have to say, I'm impressed by the support you have offered on these forums. I'm just about to pick up an fn2 civic type r and the best quote I got from Honda garages was £400 for parking sensors! :O

Figured seeing as I wanted blue tooth and stuff anyway I might aswell fit a double din and parking camera for a little bit extra.

Still not 100% sure which camera I want but im sure your famous pm will fill me in

Hi,

You've sent me a PM regarding the purchase of a automated mirror module (thank you), but in my forum post I did mention about buying one of these camera sets at the same time (as well as possibly a cable from Bog for my 57 plate 2.2 EX?).

Without reading the huge number of posts, can I ask if the screen will activate on reverse if the screen is not currently being used? I very rarely use the satnav, so normally don't bother "accepting" the on screen T&C's (which turns off the screen after about 30 seconds). Nor do I have the audio or climate on screen... it is turned off 99% ofthe time.

Also, if it DOES activate the screen, will it then turn the screen off if it was before,?

Hi Tom....the Camera will override any setting you have the screen on, so yes it will activate even when blank and go blank again when not in reverse.

Thank you for the PM on the mirror unit, but could you please let me know how much one of these cameras, plus a mirror unit, plus a cable (assuming I need one for my 57plate 2.2 EX?) is? And whether I pay you for all, or pay Bog directly for the cable (if needed)?
