I keep getting a static shock from my door if I get out when the engine is running, I think I've got an earthing issue? I installed an earthing kit but that didn't help.
Please can you advise on the best places to ground the video control box and camera? currently the reverse camera is earthed on a bolt going onto the boot and the video box I think its just the two cig socket wires but I can't really remember....

I have mine powered by the cig socket too and the earth there is fine on mine. My camera (Mr Bozo's DS) ground wire is not connected, the ground through the Navigation system is OK. I have no issues with static.

I'm no expert on static... but I thought it was where charge can't dispitate that is created by tires or your clothes on the seat?

IS pic OK on your screen?

i have installed v3 control box.......is fantastic......
i have only a little problem....
when i start the car,by default, in i-pilot display visualize video from first rca in.......is possible to visualize nav image for the first?

The easiest way to do this is put a switch on the red 12v wire so that you can switch on/off the box when you want. Otherwise it will always come on when you start the car.

Glad you are happy with box and got it fitted ok
