New! Video In Control Boxes

The box plugs into the back of the Honda OEM Navigation System and allows a composite video source to be shown on the car's navigation screen. It allows you to do the following:

Switch on Reversing Camera when driving forward.
Watch video source (iPad, iPhone, Car PC, DVD Player etc,) on Navigation Screen whilst driving forward or stationary.
Switch automatically from video source to reversing camera when reversing.
The unit can also be connected to AV Selector to allow connection of multiple devices i.e iPod, Car PC or DVD Player.
Built in 6db attenuation to improve video image detail (some sources can be a bit bright without)

For connecting and controlling devices which have a composite video output such as:

Aftermarket Reversing Camera (Such as MrBozo's here: For Sale ... Reverse Cameras)
DVD Player or HDD Media Player
iPod/iPad/iPhone
Car PC
Nokia or Android Phone with video out
In Car DVB-T Digital TV Tuner
Front facing camera
Almost anything with a Composite Video Out

These work on all Honda's with a factory fitted Navigation System (Civic, CR-V, FR-V, Accord, Insight, Jazz and CR-Z).

The diagram below shows the basic principal and typical setup....

You will need to buy your own switch(s) from Maplin et.c as style and location will depend on your personal preference. Here are some pics of mine...

(These are push button switches from Maplin - The third is for my rear ambient lighting)

3 Types Available:

A - Standard Control Box with 7 pin plug (Pictured) . . . . £45.00

B - Control Box upgrade for users who have my Video Cable already . . . . £25.00

C - Control Box for cars fitted with OEM Factory Fitted Honda Reversing Camera . . . . £45.00
(Please note, for techincal reasons unit C does not have the functionality to view reversing camera when moving forward)

Yep, thats correct, the Type A has the 7 pin plug that goes directly into the Sat Nav

To be honest, I'm no an expert on the audio on the latest/best audio aux in solution these days as I have it built in on my civic. I here the Denison is good... When I had my 06 civic I installed a connects2 box which was good too.

Best to have a little search or I'm sure someone on here will be able to advise you

Yes I will ship to Italy, total price for type A will be 54 Euros. Payment via PayPal.

It is not to difficult to fit, but it does require some knowledge of car electrics and you will have to take part of the dashboard apart.
