The only thing I'd say is on the phonocar connector it could do with the allen key being on the other side as it's a very tight squeeze fastening it up on the battery when keeping it square. Not noticed any difference yet but looks great

Many Thanks
Leigh

Looks nice Leigh ties in nicely with the scheme in the bay,1 thing I've noticed on mine is the interior lights seem brighter

Whoa whoa Leigh can't you just take pictures of the kit instead of getting your clean stunning engine in shot and now making me think about getting blue pipe work, and what are those red cup washer thing's are they from tegiwa . Kit received today looks smart real happy with it so will hopefully fit at the weekend but refuse pictures till Leigh dirtys his up a bit Cheers again.

Cheers mate I'll have a look next time I'm in the car, was hoping it started quicker but still seems the same. It looks great which is main reason I wanted the kit as I like a blinged up engine bay haha

Yeah I fitted the Tegiwa dress up kit while I was at it just to finish the kit off and smarten the rest of the engine bay. Well I've got further enhancements coming on 17th September to improve engine bay further

Got mine yesterday. Plan to fit it on weekend.

Just a few questions:

1. I noticed theirs a black square piece in packet. whats that for?
2. Whats the best place to attach 2nd (long cable) on engine bay for a 1.8? Near oil cap ?

1) The black square is 600 grit sand paper for sanding down the contact points so that you get a metal to metal contact.

2) I believe delta0 did a how2 install my kit onto a 1.8 and it's very good and wasy to follow.

Near the oil cap is the best place. Because the inlet manifold is plastic and covers most of the rear of the engine nearly all the bolts there are not in contact with the engine or any metal for that matter. The route through to the bolt near the oil cap is ideal and looks great as the cable is visible along the back of the engine.

Just out of interest Scott. Can the kit be taken a stage further? ie is it worth grounding any other positions?

It won't hurt. I've thought about a couple of other positions but it is probably overkill. However, it'll look great from and engine bling point of view.

If you want this doing I can make some more cables with terminal rings on the end to whatever length you need.

Let me know the length(s) you need and I'll let you know how much

Cheers Scott.
I was looking at your first thread where it mentions the 'big 3'. Your kit is based on 2+3. What would the 1 involve?

The 1 involves running a thicker gauge cable from the positive of the alternator to the battery. However, on the FN2's I cannot get to the cables on the alternator unless I remove the front slam panel

Not sure yet, haven't had a proper look around under the bonnet for a while. Might have a nosey soon and let you know

Still waiting for stock anyway so it'll be a while before I can make anything again
