Brembo calipers and Black Diamond S2000 discs
Have decided not to go ahead with my Brembo upgrade and selling of the parts due to needing the finances.
Brembo calipers Award winning 6 groove Black Diamond Discs (S2000) - new The calipers came off a working DC5 and they have been refurbed in AP yellow with new seals 6 months ago by the person I got them from. When I took the pads out at a later date to clean the calipers up for putting on the car I discovered that 3 of the boots had been damage by someone possibly trying to force the pistons back to fit new pads. The rest of the seals look like new and the paint is in very good condition. I was just going to fit them with the damaged boots as it doesn't really affect anything, as my local garage suggested, and try and source a part kit with someone else, but now decided to sell. AP Logo can be pealed off after heating with a heat gun/hair drier. Discs from Larkspeed cost me £147+PP - Looking for £140 delivered £370 delivered for the calipers. One word of warning with buying calipers from breakers etc. They have often been on a car or lying around for years and the bleed screws can be seized solid. (Steel screw in ali block!) I had a set previously that had one shear off and one strip out, even though I used extreme heat/cold to loosen them. These ones are freed off so no need to worry about that. I'm at EH9. As you can see the damaged ones probably need replacing but they are not actually necessary for brake function. If you could get a part set share with someone who has also the same problem, maybe, or someone who is rebuilding and has some good boots left over. I was going fit them and do that a bit later.

Sorry got another question.
Can you measure the diameter of the pistons please? I am just looking to price up how much it will cost me to replace the seals before i consider making an offer as i would not be happy to fit them without replacing. Thanks |

Take off £20 for postage so £350? Are you interested in the discs? I can do them £120, which is a saving of nearly £40 on the delivered list price
Thanks |

I have now removed the AP logo and I have to say that I think these look great in yellow. The paint job is really professional looking and I was going to leave them that colour, at least give them a try on my Milano. Someone else posted a pic of their silver Civic with yellow calipers which look great too.

Any other offers?
![]() They also come with 4 new M12x1.75x35 stainless steel set bolts. They will need a washer or two or trimming a couple of millimetres to clear the discs when they bolt up tight. I have uploaded a colour corrected photo to try and bring out the true colour of the calipers. They were looking a bit insipid more a lemon yellow, but the AP yellow is more rich and golden so I tried to correct it for you. Digital cameras often have trouble accurately recreating strong primary colours like yellow and red. There is also a tiny chip that shows through a little red around the pad spigot hole on the front. I would be putting these on my car if it were not for the fact that for some reason the extra spacers I would need to clear these, above the 15mm I already have fitted, give me clearance problems. I have hence decided to sell up some of my upgrade parts to fund a possible Stoptech Touring brake upgrade. |

3x $10 each +PP total is £47 delivered +VAT+ £8 customs charge = approx £65 (which is half the price of a seal kit) |
