i was thinking that the r-grill would look great if it was smooth and just black, without the badge, the mental picture i had was similar to the irmcher grills you see on vauxhall corsas and astras, the clean black, clutter free grill usually looks great. and to have the same on a civic would look great.

New grill

Is it me or do these pictures look like a crouching panther.
Maybe not look so scary in the daylight.

Think Christophe has it there.

If it was a carbon bonnet and nose it would work, but on it's own it looks out of place.

Shame really.

Nope, don't like that the original looks far better, if you want a black grill go for the R Type one, better yet leave it standard IMHO

I agree paint it black, or paint the original black inside like the milano one one on here.

The grill in black and the "H" in the middle would be much better

i like the design. i think the carbon look is wasted on this car as its not a performance car (as said i think the carbon bonnet and nose would look good, only on the type r though). once painted black i think it will look great. im not sure on the badge, i would suggest a photoshop before making a decision

I doesn't look bad at all. I think it will look better with a carbon hood, too.

Bit of a photoshop, but a carbon bonnet painted to match the lines of the grill might look pretty snazzy.
