Carlack 68 new paint and carlack 68 ultraviolet protection and P21s wax are the only products you will need. these are the best products i have ever used and i have used a lot, they are easy to apply and work the same as supaguard or diamondbrite which costs the earth. can be purchased on fleabay or google search. only use a lambswool mitt for washing using the two bucket method and dry using a towel such as the one from mequiars range in halfords, you have been warned, use a sponge and leather at your own risk.

As you say sponges and Leathers are not the things to use on your car
They both trap grit and cause scratches and swirls

Supraguard and Diamond brite are just paint sealers (better products can be bought for around £15)

Autopia is a great car detailing forum

I dont like using P21s on silver cars though only darker ones

Einszett is VERY good product - I use their Cockpit Premium, Glanz Wax, and Screenwash Concentrate.
Think it's an often overlooked brand, but like some people are finding out, it's a bit of a sleeper range.
