Yeah, I`m looking for dealers that ship to norway.

Honda dealer I talked to had no idea if anything would fit or even if he could get hold of it.

Have a look at the Wiki:
Adding Type R parts to a non-R car - Civinfo Wiki

...and show that to your dealer.

I know that Rosenholtz in Stockholm have exported cars to Norway, perhaps they would do the same with parts.

I have not dealt with them myself, but they have a good reputation.

And this one was very helpful. No problem at all. So right now I have a type-r grill in a box in my living room, waiting to get put on my new milano red exe when I get it the end of this month .

Ok, so you're a salesman.

Well, start offering the Civic 2.2 diesel with executive trim in Norway. Honda should also consider to review the prices on the option list. The prices taken are absymal! Eg 8000nkr(Ģ 750) for reversing sensors+fitting??

Honda should take a serious look at the interior quality in the Civic. It is really not very good. Eg the fabric already looks worn after 10 months, silver plastic chips very easily. Rattles... mmm

I agrre, would love to offer the 2.2 in Executive trim. The problem is that Honda Europe don't seem to see the potenial of this model in Norway. We might possibly order one for you, ifyou are willing to wait some months for it?

As for the reversing sensors, we offers this for 9.000,- included fitting. I guess the price is about the same as other manufacturers take, at least Audi/VW where I was employed until new years eve.

Sorryto hear what yousay about the interior, I will take this back to Honda Europe and hopefully they can to something about it.

I have seen a diesel in Sweden (from Autopunkten) even though they are not officially sold here. So, as you say it should be possible to get one on special order.

Have to agree, some parts of the car have a poor "feel", worst is the exterior front door handles. That was the main point making me hesitate.

Agreed, but I found an excellent mechanic on the norwegian club-honda forum (which may come in handy; I'm a chemist, not a mechanic ),
so it's plenty of useful information there.
Altough very little civic specific .
