As far as I know there are 2 grills for civic...one is for 5 and 3 door models (same) and type R grill....I don't know that Type S has it one grill....

and you don't have to stick on Type R badge....you can stick silver badge like Ivoke here...

The standard Type S comes without a grill, with the same clear plastic as the 5 door.

On any car with the clear plastic you can replace it with a Type R grill.

The Type R grill does not come with any Type R marking, that is extra at more cost from Honda.

Therefore, what you want is a Type R grill and a Type S badge.

I think you may be able to find a suitable Type S bagde on E-Bay.

Holdcroft Honda posted the two different prices recently (for a Type R grille with a red H or a black H) Think they were about £20 different.

More info here:

[HOW TO] Change to Type R grill

Several members have changed grills themselves.
Sounds like there are a couple of clips that may be a bit tricky.

£270 in Sweden according to RogS, try some of the dealers on here for a an offer.

Looks like Holdcraft have sold it for £225:
type r spoiler and grill

Careful with him, the head on mine broke off, now the stig really is a mystery, and BTW, the black one was better.

All Type S cars here in Greece are delivered with the Type R grill default, with the Type S emblem also!

How funny is that considering they don't actually do a Grill Badge for the Current S, thats a Grill Badge from the last Civic.

New S is Silver not red!

They must have missed the TYPE R GRILL from this S in Greece My new Type S:-D From Greece with love!

Btw, don't post crap like that all you do is confuse other people who are looking for information. Don't think someone in Greece would appreciate looking like a tit when they discover that their S doensn't have the 'Standard Type R Grill' because they don't provide it as 'default' in Greece

No. The R grill on S car seems to be a local Greek thing.

and to confuse things even more, amongst the previous Civics, the last model before our spaceship design was known as "the facelift model"...

I haven't owned a Civ before, so I'm far from expert on it, but I believe that the last set of Honda changes (prior to our design) were quite huge, and made a BIG difference to the car.
