Anyone know? I would like to know the answer to this too - use 'elbow grease' at the moment - but would like a quicker way but don't want to mark my paintwork.

Usually look like this:

http://www.godfrey-diy.co.uk/gallery/32002640-large.gif Car buffer/polisher

A big polishing cloth/duster/woolen fabric spun via a motor to "buff" without having to use your hands to as karate kid was taught, WAX ON... WAX OFF !!!

in regards to the actual post, no idea I use elbow grease just like you say, also helps you keep fit!
