Looks sweet, I ordered a gaiter for mine which should hopefully arrive next weeks. I'll get some pics up when it arrives

This week I bough one more part (Spacer A) to my gear stick, now it seems perfect.
Here is list of all parts:
Knob, change lever, 54102SMTE01
Spacer A, 54103SMTE01
Panel, fr *NH608L*, 77293SMTE01ZA
Ring, garn*NH609L*, 77294SMTE01ZA
Boot assy*NH167L*, 77298SMTE01ZA
All parts cost me 306 Euros, I think I got about 10% discount.
I also used 3 screws (4*12 mm) to attach Panel and Boot assy (see picture). And I used exactly right sized washer between Spacer and Knob to get knob tight and straight.

To install Type R stick parts you have to remove part of dashboard to remove dark grey part round change lever (see picture), it is attached with three 12 mm bolts. To remove dashboard I got much help from following thread: [HOW TO] Get into the dash

Here is also some pictures of job finished.

Hi, does anyone knows if I have to chance the panel to put a TypeR boot?
Can't I keep mine?
Thanks

Hi there,
All these parts are connected to each other, so it is wise to get them all:
Panel, fr *NH608L*, 77293SMTE01ZA
Ring, garn*NH609L*, 77294SMTE01ZA
Boot assy*NH167L*, 77298SMTE01ZA
They are seen attached on my image 3 of 7

I am not sure if you mean panel with round shaped space for gearstick? Original silver panel is different from underside, so it would be hard to use it.

Yes, I was talking about the silver panel. And thanks, didn't know it was different underside.
Just another question. Can't I cut the plastic under the boot (the one where you fix the bolts) and fix it with another thing?

Hmm, I haven't tryed it without the black panel, so I don't really know how it would work. Black panel contains screw threads for 4*12 screws to attach the boot properly. At least you need to remove the part from console, which is seen on my image 4 of 7, to attach original typeR boot. When you remove that part you have room to attach the boot.

Thanks Mikasa. The problem is that I don't like the black panel. Will see if I find one boot at ebay to make some "experiments" with it.

do you really need to remove that part you showed in the picture?
was it related to the use of the spacer?

Spacer is only attached to stick, it can be used even without gaiter. That grey part is needed to remove to get room for gaiter and black panel.
