Question foot mats

I have a 56 plate milano red civic 5 door sport and like the idea of having red foot mats to match the body colour. I was wondering if the 2006 Civic type R mats would fit in the foot wells and rear seats of a 5 door?

Thanks.

Why don't you do what I just did. I went to my dealer the other day to find out the price for the Type-R "Red floor mats" 123.00 euros approx.80 pounds. So being the rocket scientist that I am, I thought to my self why not go to a store that sells carpets, Choose the quality and color I want and get them to do the stich around the carpet. As for the carpet moving around caused by getting in and out there is a solution for that as well....Velcro (scrich scrach tape) just sew the Vecro strips under the carpets and there you go. They will not budge not a bit. This will cost me 38 euros.19 euros a square meter 2m x 90cm is all the carpet you'll need.

That's not a bad idea. Most small carpet dealers would offer you this service. I had a boot liner made for a previous car and they simply charged me by the metre for the stitching.

That was my next step (thought). Of coarse as soon as I get them (end of the week) I'll post a few photos.

Will the previous Type R mats fit in a 5 door new Civic? I have a set of JDM mats from my previous Type R.

You spend £16/17,000 on a car then make your own mats because £80 seems a lot of money, please dont think about depreciation then

You do have a point....... But I just think it's a lot for floormats. Listen to this,
they have these sun-shades that fit exactly to the back windows for are you ready!!!!! 140.00 euros "Yeah Right". For the floor lighting 173.00 euros ( I don't think so ) If I were to pay these outregous prices then I should get a tattoo on my forhead SUCKER. Just cause I paid 30.000 euros for my Type-R dose'nt mean that I have to buy accessories at SUCKER prices. (they think we're fools)

The carpets are sold at 123.00 euros I paid 40.00 euros
The footwell lights 173.00 I paid 17.00 euros
The sunshades (back windows) 140.00 I can do without!
