Bits and bobs to do!

Hi Guys wondering thoughts on whether or not this will be overkill on a Type S GT, or whether it will all look OK?

Wanting to do some sensible (not needing to inform insurance comapany about engine mods etc. as I'm wanting to keep it low for the time being) mods, so do you think these styling bits will look good:

> Type S GT Side Stickers,

> Rear Spoiler (R style),

> GT badge back (a small chrome one under the S badge, I was really annoyed they never put anything on to denote the GT spec, as you paid the money for the upgrade and yet, no real 'recognition'),
> Colour coded body work (trim basically),

> Type R gear-knob (my one is starting to look naff),

>Possible tinting of rear windows, (however worried I'll get constantly pulled by the pi....police , "just like to check your front windows are legal sonny").

It would be a work in progress, as will have to get the money together to do bits as and when.

Together I think it'll look the dog's......

BTW, Halfords sell a reversing camera for 75 quid and will fit it for 35!!!!!

ATB,
Tom

All sounds good, but apart from the gear knob the rest are all mods that you have to inform your insurer about. You wouldn't want anything to happen and then find out that they won't pay out due to it.

That reminds me Angie, I haven't informed my insurance company yet, about Conrad's side stickers and the chrome gt badge which I have fitted.

She is right though, they are complete f*****s insurance companies (to be honest I'd rather trust a bulldog with my b**ls), but you need them and so they got you trussed like a turkey.

BTW, some so and so on Campus has now got a black 5dr I like being the only civ (except a milano Pole'), still mine looks better than boring red (waiting for Charles ), JK mate.

I've had a few people looking at the car, and even had an approving nod from an old guy when he saw it was Honda, that was truly classic (oh and the girls like it lots too. ).

Thanks Angie for the advice.

Tom

Do you park behind the sports hall????? There are three of us on Campus so far, a Milano Red Polish registered 5 DR, a Black %dr and Me (Type S).

I'll tickt it next time and see who's it is.

Have only parked there once. Should do more often to be honest, seeing as im always in the electronics building.

I've only ever seen that other NHB 5 door on campus and 2 old Type Rs. Will keep a look out for yours and that other crazy mystical Milano.

That wasn't you monday then about 2 o'clock???? The milano is over by Darwin/Rutherford. Drive round the back and park in the new car park it's often empty.

I'm in this afternoon and will be parked in Rutherford for a few minutes collecting some paperwork
