Unhappy Think I'm going to walk...

Got up this morning, and the sun was out (but the wind was very very cold). Thought excellent, lets give her a wash (and so I did). I now need to get some groceries, but the evil dark clouds are here now! I don't want to drive her now!

Only people here will understand my pain... sigh!

Is it in the Garage? If not then the rain is only going to make it look a little dirty again and you won't have driven it At least when you've driven it to get it dirty you feel better

Some groceries aren't worth making your car wet and dirty again
Have a walk! Better for your health and the environment

Totally understand what you're saying. Luckily I have a company car to take to the supermarket.

I'm not allowed to take the CTR to Tesco just in case it gets....

1) Rained on
2) Some one looks at it
3) Gets shopping dents
4) Have to bail the missus out of jail for denting the person who dented the CTR

You can see where I'm going with this huh?

Yes, having shielded it from the rain the next day it got snowed on, a lot, while I was driving it.

When the weekend arrives again, I'll do it all over!

You can never win, all i ask for is 24hrs of a shiny car. Sigh.

I got home to my clean and shiney car yesterday to find rain, snow, bird keek and the birds had been at the gutters and had covered the car in the crap from the gutters too! But never mind a good hot bucket of water removed it. Then I took it out for a right good thrashing and it got filthy again

After washing, drying and coating (yet again!!) with Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer, I love to see it rain as the water just runs off in great globules. When it stops raining it barely needs a wipe-over to remove the residue.

I recommend you give it a couple of coats. it's magic.

Have a look here:

Yeah I love the beading of the water off the car. Was soooooo annoyed thou when I found that some birds had a good try at trying to turn my Milano CTR black with the dirt!! Think a cover for the car is required......but maybe I will offer to clean the gutters this weekend cause I can't have this!!!!

Only reason I rinsed the dirt off was due to the fact I wouldn't like to go out with it like that and find that it starts to become unstuck at speed and create even micro scratches!
