Detailing Sprays
Im new to this deatling business have spent a small fortune on cleanyourcar.co.uk too much to list..... anyway ive got both meguiars last touch and Chem guys detaliers, form what i understand i can give the car a quick spray after a wash before drying or use it inbetween washes as a touch up.
Its the using in between washes which im concearned about, as soon as a cars driven or after rain, very fine particle of dirt remain on the surface, will spraying a mist of detailer then drying it with a microfibre towel not scratch or put swirls in the paintwork?? |

Yes it will.
Use a hose pipe and rinse with a microfibre cloth or a wash mitt, then wipe dry with a Meguiars Water Magnet |

Meg's LT is one often cited as being suitable for diluting to half strength with deionised water, which would let you use more to wet the surface, and use like a waterless wash product.
Personally, I'd keep it for that purpose for the door shuts, etc. I don't follow the logic (or illogic) of using a QD as a drying aid - the towel does that all on its own. Otherwise, as a mid-week/weekly top up to maintain the protection, if it has carnauba in it. If not, then it's merely an appearance thing. Even if it does, the content is very low and won't replace any wax that may have failed already. |

I only use Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer ; and only if it is covered in very light dust.
