Hello Everyone.
I have just collected a Type-s in alabaster silver and I love it, I know this sounds like a stupid question but what type of cleaning products should I buy to make my car look even more perfect. Because I aint trusting no hand car wash in an old petrol station and pay them £7 for the privlage or no machine/jet wash to scratch it like im used to. Any advice will be appreciated. Cheers Lads & Lasses |

No definatly dont touch the hand car wash places trhe majority of them use a chemical to dissolve the dirt around the wheels and edges of the car which can eventually cause the paint to fade, plus i would not trust them with how close they get to the paint with the pressure washed.
I use Meguiars products they work a treat.......yes they are expensive but i would say it is worth it |

Welcome man ...Another silver purist ...by far the best color in the civic line up .... the good news is you will not need too much attention or time spent on polishing or washing your silver spaceship unlike the other colors... which will give you more time to drive it... as it should be.... Regardless of the colour..
You will get good advice here: A world for detailers... or to buy: Clean Your Car - car care products UK Personally, I use Collinite wax. I find it very durable, easy to apply and buff off and it lasts and lasts |

Depending on whether you want to top-up the LSP (last stage protection) more often than not, you might want to consider a sealant instead of a carnauba wax.
Locally, my choice is the Bilt Hamber Auto Balm - imported, one has to be seriously considerate of Zaino, but not discounting Ultima. If waxing is your preference, then Dodo Juice Light Fantastic or Rainforest Rub. Collinite isn't a slouch either. |
