Flexible Roof?

Hello

Having cleaned and polished my new Type R, Noticed that the roof section, tends to flex quite a lot when polishing!!!

Has anybody else experienced this..............................

Yes! Same thing with the bonnet.
Bonnet flexing is i assume to protect pedestrians if they get hit. Crumples easily and absorbs impact but not sure why the roof should be so flexible. Its a bit scary i worry in case it dents

Hi im a honda technician and this is the same on all civics except those with a panoramic roof.( obviously )

All my recent cars have been the same.

Most metal panelling is now wafer thin after the computers design the structures. Obviously not much Meccano style framework underneath these days ?
